Important Information
We are currently planning for physical ceremonies to go ahead in the Summer of 2023, the dates of which have been published below. All students expected to be eligible to graduate have been contacted and asked to complete an Expression of Interest process. The Graduation Office has published the ceremony schedule, via the same Graduation dates page below, based on responses to this process. The Formal Registration Process ran from late March to early May and is now closed. If you are expecting to graduate in July 2023 but have not yet heard from us, please email graduation@reading.ac.uk as a matter of urgency.
We are now able to offer guests with tickets to be seated in the Great Hall for your ceremony (up to two per graduand, requested during the Formal Registration process). If any new Government restrictions are put in place that mean we have to limit capacity in the Great Hall, guest tickets will transfer to ceremony livestream rooms on the Whiteknights campus.
Our Essentials webpages are also being refreshed regularly with the latest information and advice, so please continue to monitor these as well as your University email address (or personal email address for those who have already completed their studies).
The Graduation Team are currently dividing our time between working remotely from home and in our office. In line with the most up-to-date UK Government guidance we may have to move to solely working from home at short notice, which may impact on our ability to provide a few of our services.
