The Brighter Futures Grants Programme is offering £1000 for 10 lucky University of Reading students.
This autumn, we’re excited to support University of Reading students with the return of the Brighter Futures Grants programme in partnership with Santander. Apply by 27 November 2025 for your chance to win!
All students are eligible to enter for the chance to win 1 of 10 Brighter Futures Grants of £1000 – including undergraduates, postgraduates, part-time and full-time students. The grants have been created with the specific aim of supporting our students through their studies, at a time when many peoples’ finances are stretched.
There are no strings attached – you could spend your grant on study resources ahead of exams, or use it towards living expenses over the summer break, or on everyday expenses such as rent, bills and groceries.
To apply, eligible students must visit the Santander Scholarships platform and register before applying for the initiative. On the application form, you must choose University of Reading. Although this initiative has been built in partnership with Santander Universities, you do not need to be a Santander customer to apply.
You must apply by 11pm on 27 November 2025.
Once applications have closed, 10 lucky students will be selected at random and receive £1000 to spend.
