What is a Visit Day?
At the University of Reading, we realise how important it is to make sure you are making the right decision when choosing where to study. We want you to get a feel for what life would be like as an undergraduate student here.
Visit Days are held for prospective students who have applied to a non-interview course at the University of Reading and have been offered a place. They are subject-specific and organised by the department you will be joining. Even if you have already attended one of our Open Days, Visit Days are highly beneficial as they offer you a different, more bespoke experience.
During the day, you will have the opportunity to meet your future tutors and hear more about the course you’ll be studying. In departmental sessions you can get to know your future classmates and talk to current students about their experiences here so far. You’ll also be able to talk to representatives of key services like Accommodation and Student Funding.
The majority of Visit Days are held in between February and April with on-campus and virtual options.
